            Beautiful Eyes

The gateway to the soul these wonderful sources of passion have been from the earliest days
Men have looked into women's eyes and have lost their hearts and thrown everything away

Women have the capacity to stir men's hearts with a simple glance
Putting the men who know not what to do in a hypnotic trance

She may look at you with longing and your heart cries out so that you will do anything for her
I wonder how many women down through time used their eyes to get them a sable fur

Some women can be coy and just stop for a moment as their gaze passed over you
Making your blood boil as you want her to look back again, you wonder what you can do

How many men have had a single glance send them into a daytime dream of wonder and delight
Carrying that single glance with them through the day and yes maybe way into the night

How is it that she can capture so much passion with her eyes, I wonder does she even know
That her magical glance can start my heart beating faster and faster as I watch her eyes glow

God forbid that she should be mad because then you will see them flash like lightning in the sky
I want to run and hide because I know that she will turn these on me with her scorn running high

And how can I describe them in moments of passion when she looks deeply into my soul
Our hearts leaping in a ballet of love as we hold each other and will not let the other go

Then in the aftermath of our passion looking into her eyes which are happy and filled with a glow
She smiling with her eyes and telling me that she is filled with delight as our heartbeats slow

When someone she loves has passed from this land and her eyes fill to the brim with tears
I just want to take her in my arms and give her my love down through her remaining years

These gateways to her show her passion in all its many ways and I wonder at their hold over me
Knowing that she can capture my heart with a single glance has filled me with wonder you see

Great artists have managed to capture this on their canvas to share with the world for sure
Remember the eyes of Mona Lisa, I know that as he painted her he was captured by their allure

Take a moment when next you meet to look deeply into her eyes and melt your hearts into one
She may look at you strangely but if the love is there she will soon join you and then it can be fun

For should you do this you can almost bet that her eyes will grow with passion to your delight
Then my friend you will find that you are truly in heaven for a while on this very fine night
